Metropolitan Neophytos and a Last Word From Elder Ephraim

“A last thing that Elder Ephraim [of Arizona] said, and it's not widely known—a bit before he died, he said to some people close to him—he died in 2019. He “fell asleep" is what we should say. The Saints do not die, they fall asleep. He said:

“Christ gave to the Angels each one stone. As soon as I fall asleep, He will unleash them throughout the length and breadth of the world."

Each one of us has his own house, his own character, his own small world. And he is happy in his world. (Don't we say, ‘So-and-so is in his own world?') Each one takes whatever is best in him and puts it on display, [as if in a storefront]. Only a few would show their mistakes and their passions. Most just mention their good side, so that they have a good name, a good image in society. Which at the end of the day, is not an image, but an idol. Idol and image are two different things. The Saint of God [Elder Ephraim] says:

“Each Angel will go in front of the storefront of each of us and will throw one stone, just one. Most storefronts will break; they will be shattered. Some will crack. Others will lose their balance. A few will remain untouched."

As soon as he fell asleep, the so-called epidemic, the manufactured one, started—and the vaccines. And some storefronts started breaking, others cracking, others becoming destabilized, until the next trial. A new trial will come. Get ready. My storefront might not have broken with the first stone; it might break with the second one.

Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall" (1 Cor. 10:12). I say these things for myself. What did [the Gospel] say today? But many who are first will be last, and the last first. (Matthew 19:30)"
