The Uncreated Light Student Planner

The first Uncreated Light Orthodox Student Planner is a meticulously designed, 172-page full-color planner that supports and inspires students educated at home and in school, both younger children (with the help of their parents) and older children.

It is also great for Christians of any age who want to keep on track every day — spiritually, educationally, and organizationally. Dedicated to contemporary Saints, the planner begins with an introduction featuring the teachings of Saint Joseph the Hesychast on the importance of maintaining a daily schedule. It includes morning and evening prayers along with prayers before any task, helping us to continually focus on the one thing needful. This planner follows the Orthodox liturgical cycle, beginning on September 1st, the ecclesiastical New Year, and provides a comprehensive 2024-2025 calendar that marks major feasts and fasting periods like Nativity, Great Lent, and the Dormition of the Theotokos.

The planner not only shares spiritual guidance from the Saints, but is also a practical tool for organization. It offers spaces for setting yearly goals, tracking daily habits, and planning class schedules for the first and second semesters. Each month features a full-page photo related to the Saint of the month, accompanied by their life story, key teachings, and a section called "Sit at the Feet of the Saint" for deeper reflection. This is followed by a full-page monthly calendar, also including the Old Calendar dates, and a page for monthly planning. Weekly planner pages align with the liturgical year, offering sayings from the Saints, space to note the Saint of the day, and areas to track daily prayers, scripture readings, homework, and other tasks. Special features include fasting guidelines, a nine-week Nativity calendar, an eleven-week Great Lent calendar, and assessments to help students, teachers, and parents gauge progress.

Designed in Florence, Arizona and printed in Tucson, Arizona, this planner is of the highest quality, making it an ideal resource for Orthodox Christian students and anyone seeking to live a spiritually and academically organized life.
